Doc,

Thanks for the screenshot. I'm not sure why the menu at top isn't displaying as tabs, did you modify the menu code in the index.php file at all? It seems like it's not connecting the output list with the styles coded in the css file for that menu. The other display problems at the top could be that the lines of text are so long. Most layouts aren't built for long text in the headers or by the search field, and like the title of your site. So one idea would be to see what happens if your site title is just a few words, like on the demo on the solucija.com site.

Finally, about the display in the main text area, remember that this is an extremely complicated layout for WB. If you're the doc from the wb forum, you probably know wb pretty well, but to really make this look right, you probably need to use the multiple blocks and put text in the different blocks for the main text area so that everything lines up correctly. I'm hoping it's not a problem with the template since I will be out for three-four weeks and won't be able to check anything or test anything. I WILL be monitoring this site and responding to comments, though. Since this tutorial is on the wb handbook, I'm hoping you'll be able to get some help from Klaus or someone. If you post there, let me know, and I'll put up this response so everyone can be up to date.

Hello,

just installed the finished WB template zip file on a clean WB v2.6.5 installation. The whole layout is broken. Main links are not displayed as tabs but as normal lists. See http://foerderverein.stamm-wolfskeel.de/.www/screenshot.gif. Tested it on Win XP with latest versions of IE, Firefox and Opera. All of the latest Browser show that odd behaviour.

Is there any update available?
Regards doc

I am wondering about one last thing... No matter if i install my own template or the one provided here, it does not show the login button anywhere.. What is the cause of this ?

Thx in advance heh.

Mark--try reading this thread on the WB forum:

http://forum.websitebaker.org/index.php/topic,5463.0.html

If you're still having trouble, try posting there. I'm not sure what it could be since you followed the directory structure exactly, like you say you did. The guys that help on the forums are very quick to respond and are very helpful. They'll be able to look at the zipped file you couldn't get to work and see what the problem is.

First of all, thx for this.. I think its great you contribute..
But... I tried doing it all, then zipping and installing, yet nothing happened...
Then i tried to download your exact version of this, unzipping, zipping (the same, but me zipping) same name and everything, tried to install, and nothing..
When i just downloaded yours and installed it worked just great..

Any reason i should be made aware of ? That could be causing this..

Thanks a lot for this.
I'm working on my first site with WB and really love it... i compared a lot of cms and concerning design's adaptability... WB is great (if you compare with joomla (quite bad) template... you recognize a joomla website very easily).

So thanks a lot for this tutorial... i think it is really easy to adapt it to every kind of template.

Jerome

Ps : sorry for my bad "paris/french/english"
